Rich, the chemical I was thinking of was Tissue Digester. We had to use that over a year ago when we had the dreaded pyramid built up in the tank and we couldn't even flush the toilet. Tissue Digester was the only thing that worked (in conjunction with high pressure water spray). Tissue Digester is enzyme based so it might not be a problem for the SS.
