For nearly 25 years I would have nothing but Chevrolet for me and DW's vehicles. And never had any significant failures or problems. When looking to buy a new one in 1987 a Chevy salesman made me mad. Drove across town just to look at Fords. Been driving nothing but Fords for mine and DW's ever since, including two of the 6.0 diesels. And never a problem with any of them either. And the only time I ever looked at the Rams (Dodge back then) I did not like them. But that was years ago. Will stay with the Ford unless something significant happens to change my mind.

Brand loyalty aside, they are all equally capable and reliable. None are any better or worse than the other. Just a matter of the little unexplained personal details that draw a person to one or the other.

However, that has never stopped a good debate about it.
