BTW, there is a product to consider. It's a vinyl flooring that looks like laminate planking. It's very inexpensive, but it's actually a decent looking floor. AND you don't have to worry about moisture. It's called Novalis. Lowe's sells it. Lighter than laminate too. This is a peel and stick product, but don't let that put you off. I think for the money, it's a great alternative.
