I see this all the time, usually the right rear on a Chevy. It's the one doing all the work. Most of the time the wear difference is minimal, but it is greatly magnified if pulling a trailer all of the time. More frequent tire rotations will slow the process and help keep your tires wearing closer to the same rate.
