Burrowing Owls

Here in cape coral we are home to Burrowing Owls which are a protected species. They dig holes and make a home and some of their tunnels are up to 12 feet long. Our next door neighbor has a pair in her fron yard and they mate for life. Here is a hidden cam camera at one of the Owl's burrow and we are waiting for the young to hatch. The owls are small and stand about8-10 inches high. Here is the site.
