If you had an 88 gallon tank for the shower and the galley drains you would be replacing your tank every week or so because the tanks are not strong enough to hold 766 lbs for one thing and the two tanks are much easier to install than a single tank. Even with the present two tanks you will find that if you fill them FULL you will eventually have a problem and the tank will burst and you don't want that to happen especially with the black tank. I just went through a grey tank and valve change and also a black tank valve change and believe me it is not a fun thing to do and not a cheap problem to solve either.
