As for as the shackle bolt, i assume it is a wet bolt. If it is then you need to replace the nut with a nylon locking nut and carry an extra wet bolt and nut. I had an wet bolt lose the nut and bolt fell out or bolt broke and fell out and wore my right rear tire really bad. I replaced the wet bolt with a grade 8 bolt as i was leaving on a trip the next day. This was a quick fix until i could get a new wet bolt. Our interstates are in very bad shape and these wheel, tire and suspensions take a beating. In the last 15 months i have had 2 factory wheels receive hairline cracks from these roads but the sailuns have held up really well. I now have the I.S. but even that can be compromised with the roads we all travel on. I have learned to always inspect the suspension before making a trip.
