While you are under there I would gusset the front and back spring hangers also. Several folks had the hangers break off the frame. most used the same basic design, a rectangular plate to fill in the open end of the hanger and welded on with a triangle plate between the frame and new end cap of the hanger. These were usually done at the same time as the bracing of the center box...
