Might be a little late on this reply, but some advice anyway.
If you haven't tied into this yet, you might want to consider changing radiator hoses at the same time. If you do, get the upper radiator hose for trucks equipped with dual alternators. It runs over the serpentine belt instead of through it. That way if you have to replace the serpentine belt, you don't have to remove the rad hose.
