Thanks for responding on the 6.0. I didn't want to hijack Mike's thread, but I was just curious.
I drove the 7.3L for five years over the Rockies and it did like to run away a little. I always thought about an engine brake, but just never did. After having this 6.0 for a couple of months and a few trips over the Rockies, I'm confident I won't need one, even with the triple. It performs completely different than the 7.3L both up and down hill, heavier brakes, and even the Monty brakes act better with the brake controller. Not saying the 7.3L performed bad (loved that truck), just different. The 6.0 is a little more precision, as I'm sure the d/a is as well.
Looking back Mike, I wish I would have taken the incentive you are now with your 7.3L. Probably would have saved a little hair on my head and the steering wheel might not have had those 10 little finger impressions.
