It goes beyond cowardly. It's an act of desperation. They can't (or won't) face the ones they feel have done them wrong, so they lash out at people, including children, who had absolutely nothing to do with their perceived grievance. I hope they are caught, tried, found guilty, get executed and go straight to hell.
