Except that I went to "D" truck plates (8001lbs to 12000lbs) GVWR. Those run me about $180/year. The Monty attached pushes my truck up over the 8000lbs limit of the common "B" truck plate. More than likely no one would ever ask me to drive up onto a scale, but if they did I would rather be within my plate rating. There was some talk I found by guys in PA, especially the horse trailer people, about the PA staties being... well... not nice
