I hear ya! I believe the sales tax in Texas is 8% too, someone will correct me if I am wrong.
When I go to Ft. Wayne Indiana and stay in a motel (research trip, just us gals), there is a pretty hefty room tax, I want to say it is 12%. Again, could be wrong! But, that is what I remember.
Seems we are gonna pay one way or tother!
