Well Steve, to us southerners "cold" nights can range from the upper 30's to low 50's. We seldom get below freezing. Nice day time temps to us range from 65 to 75. We really don't consider it hot unless it gets above 85. We have lived in this area for 13 years and have only seen snow 2 times and never on the ground for more than 24 hours. Just enough change in temps to see the changing of the seasons. We have extremely long spring and fall seasons (which are my favorites). Here it is August, and our night temps have been in the 60's with days in the 80's. Gotta love it!! We plan to spend some long periods of time in TN & GA when heading south for the winter. Will just head further south if the weather turns too cool for us. TeeHee
