We did Fishing Bridge, in Yellowstone last summer. It was Great. We stayed in Colter Bay in the Tetons, was great, better then fishing bridge as far as campgrounds go.
You should have no problem in May, just ask for a large site.
We also stayed at Henry's Lake State Park west of Yellowstone. It was very nice and worth the trip.
