I like that idea too. I think I'll put some sticky back foam there as well. As for critters crawling up the hose. Well I was at Lowe's today and picked up a mini toilet plunger for $3.00, threw away the handle and drilled out the middle with a 1" forstner bit and another hole beside that one with a 3/8" forstner bit. The plunger fits perfectly in the opening with a slight push to seal it. A short water hose and short coax cable runs thru the holes I drilled in the plunger. I wrapped elec tape around the hose and cable where it runs thru the plunger to make a tight fit. I put a 90' fitting on the hose end that connects to the convenience center. When it's not being used just connect the hose ends together and a barrel connector on the cable and attach the ends together. Store it in a bin until needed.
