In Bastrop county we had to have a safety inspection and weight. $12.50 for the inspection. If you have a weight on your current title you will not have to have the weight done. The fees are according to weight. My understanding is that we will have to have the inspection every year. Not an easy thing to find an inspection station that will do trailers. We found one in San Marcos. We were going to have it done at the dealership, but they stopped doing them.
