I'm re-visiting my cetane question of just about a year ago. I did a "search" and didn't see anything new. Last year I drove a 2010 F350 6.4 diesel dually and I noticed it showed appreciable milage improvement with the cetane booster, as others have noted.

Now, I drive a 2011 GMC 3500 dually with the Duramax diesel. My question for you GM guys is . . do the Chevy/GMC's show any improvement with a cetane booster?

Logic would dictate that it should help, Ford,Chevy,Cummins,Detroit, whatever, the same physics apply - if Ford says (and it does) that their diesels need at least 45 cetane when most pumps I've encountered say 40 cetane then I'd think that all would benefit from the booster.


Any real-world experience out there?
