A temporary permit is something I never heard of. I didn't get one after passing all the written and physical requirements. Perhaps they have finally come to their senses. Does it say it is a temporary non-commercial permit or is it like the learners permit new drivers receive (where they can drive with an older licensed passenger)? Please keep us informed as you progress.
