I have both Marinco 30 amp and 50 amp yellow cords. The 50 is heavy, but not as heavy as the black one that came with the 5er. It is also more flexible. The 30 amp is MUCH lighter. We had a break-in and my black 50 was stolen (along with a few other things). Maybe they did me a favor.

But the Marinco 50 did cost $278 (no tax, free shipping). The 30 amp cable was only about $110.
We often stay in parks with only 30 amp service and the lighter 30 amp cord is nice for that.
