I'm usually not a believer in EW's, but since I paid cash for the truck and 5er, I figured why not go the extra mile (tee hee) and get the EW on both of them. They're big ticket items, and after dropping over $90,000 on them, whats a few grand more to ensure they're protected? The 5er has seven years Star coverage which also covers the tires on the trailer AND the truck. The truck (Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Quad Cab 4x4 Turbo Diesel)is covered bumper to bumper for 7/100,000. I usually trade in a vehicle after a few years because I get bored with them, or I don't want to drive something once it's out of warranty. But these, I'm keepin' til they die or I do...LOL Many of you are right...it's a crap shoot. But, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
