Basically, I'm like Glenn and do not believe in extended warranties. Never buy them on a vehicle. Having said that, we did get one on the Montana...for a number of reasons:

- This thing is not a Honda, and will not last like a Honda.
- Since we are not full timers, the long periods of wear and tear followed by long periods of sitting, in my view, are worse than using it all the time.
- In seven years (the warranty period) I am very confident, some high dollar item(s) will break...read the forum posts. Refrig, half time oven, TVs, stove, heater, pumps, converter, slides, landing gear, water sytem, furnace, washer/dryer, etc.
- Covered all over the country with $100 deductible.
- For less than $200 a year it's worth it for piece of mind.

The day we signed on the dotted line if somebody had said, "all systems and all appliances in this thing will work perfectly for seven years," we'd have laughed at him.

Thus the extended warranty.
