If the unit is 24-inches in width as mine (Electrolux), I had to remove the doors to the bedroom and the washer/dryer closet plus the door stop trim. Definitely takes two people to get it into the bedroom area due to the tight fit through the door. Verify there are no aluminum braces in the wall where you install the vent before you drill the hole. I also set the washer on a dense foam pad to prevent the washer from shifting during travel and to dampen vibration/noise. That being said, I did not install a drip pan as some recommend.
