I last made the I-5 corridor trip at Christmas. The prices were very close at that time. I will be making the trip next week and will check. The Gov and its averages tend to be unrealistic. Today, I paid $2.65 in CA. Gasbuddy (https://www.gasbuddy.com/ ) tells me diesel is currently $2.69 at Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville, OR (my usual stop) and $2.65 in Seattle at the Arco station(s).
