What is California doing with all the gasoline tax money now? If it is not going to repair roads, then they are STEALING from the drivers..
Next gripe is their 55 mph speed limit while towing. Really? We drive Hiway 395 north of Reno to Susanville. This is 100 miles of two lanes. The SPEED limit for those not towing is 65... On our last trip with about 20 cars behind us, a pickup nearly got into a head on with a semi while passing us. This law is EXREMELY DANGEROUS! The new tow vehicles are very capable of traveling the posted speed limits. California has their head up their rears!
