You might try physically pushing the bottom of the slide in when it is retracted to see if you can close this gap. If you can then it is likely adjustment since the slide pulls in from the bottom. If you look under the slide at the end of the ram you will see it is double nutted on the outer end where it goes through the slide frame, if there is a gap there and the ram is fully retracted it would indicate it is not pulling the slide all the way in, and will need adjustment. If you cannot move it by pushing on it then there may be something binding or stuck in there that is preventing the slide from fully retracting.

There is information on adjusting the slides provided by Lippert, however if the unit is still under warranty I would have a service center adjust it or a mobile tech. You do not say if this has been a problem all along or something that has recently cropped up. The adjustment should not change if it was properly set at the factory, the ram piston threaded end is double nutted and should not change it's position on it's own.
