Cable schematic for Big Sky

Ok I am now lost, I have DTV/HD with a DVR. I drilled and routed two dedicated cables behind the fireplace and up into the entertainment cabinet. (Will post pics later) The DVR works great. My problem is that I can't get a signal in the bedroom from the cable hook-up in the service bay. It doesn't receive regular cable signal even with the jumper in the main entertainment cabinet. That being said it also doesn't receive the DTV signal if I plug a lead from the dish to the service bay. I have been running around with a meter trying to locate a bad cable or connector or short. As far as I can figure is that I am going to have run a separate cable into the bedroom probably up through the closet floor above the pin box. Some one posted a schematic of the cable connections on here a month ago or so but I can't seem to find it. It showed two connection plates in the main entertainment cabinet, one plate had two connections with a jumper and the other had one. The single connector was hooked to the main tv. I believe that the jumper was for routing the cable signal (from the service bay) to the bedroom tv. So far it has not worked at all. The only signal I get is from the antenna because in connects to the amplifier behind the bedroom tv. With or without the jumper the main tv still receives antenna signal. What the heck is the jumper for and where do the leads go?? ... Dave and Betsy
