The only upgrade to the truck was a set of air bags. Do not know what our unit weight is, will weight it this year. Had no problems towing the 3791 with this truck. Only problem was finding stations I could get into for gas. Upon returning to Pa. had to replace the original tires with only 7,000 miles on them, two were starting to separate. I replaced original tires with the new Goodyear Endurance tires and installed TPMS Tire Pressure and Temp system. Will see how these new Endurance tires work out.
Did you notice that this topic is almost 12 years old? BTW we are full timers and the ACTUAL Cat certified weight of our 2018.5 3791RD is 16,800. Although we have plenty of power to tow it we are BARELY legal to do so. With your 3/4 ton truck you have got to be way over and all air bags do is level the load but not increase truck's carrying capacity.
