We have an older model of the TST and I take them off when we aren't going to use the trailer for awhile. This supposed to prolong the batteries. After sitting for several months the tires usually need a few lbs added to reach my 80psi. Are the newer flow through so you can add air without taking cap off? I like my non-flow through type.
