Speaking for self: we prefer the fifth wheel to a motorhome. If we had need to go to a store after we were parked, it was a big pain to lock everything down again. We could have towed transportation, but really didn't want to tow a car. And if there were to be a problem with the motorhome; we would be without a house (so to speak). Insurance more $$ than a fifth wheel.Repairs also more costly. I wouldn't trade our Mountaineer for a Big Sky either! Love my private bath. However, the BS's are quite handsome.
