We got a storage unit at the place where we had the most relatives and also where we spend 5 mos out of the year (summer). We give one key (we keep one ourselves, of course) to a relative who lives near the storage unit, and if we have a sudden need, they can ship stuff to us wherever we are in the US/CA at that particular time.
