Hi everyone:
We haul our Montana 2013 3800RE with a 2011 Ford F350 Super Duty, SRW with the 6.7 engine. Temperatures rarely exceed 215 and transmission is usually 15 degrees lower.Average temp about 200 F. Most elevation change was between Phoenix and Flagstaff ( aprox. 5000 ft ) or Sacramento to Reno ( 4500 ft ) or that short haul from Las Vegas to Pahrump. (PS. If you hauled that you know what I mean.) The 6.7 diesel has never overheated but I do not push it. That is unlike my previous 2005 F350 Super Duty with the 6.0 diesel.
