Lobster Bar might be a little smokey yet. In Northern Ca.....just ssouth of Mt. Shasta off of Hwy 89...there are some great campground on the McCloud River with a lot of waterfalls you camp next to. And also...quite a few up by Diamond Lake,,,Oregon.
