Dave,

Right now you won't get much sympathy from people in the Southwest as we are worried about our wells going dry. I am hearing about lots of neighbors wells that have been wonderful for 60 years now pulling up nothng. So when you get replies to your getting a wet problem from some, me included, please forgive us that are in a severe drought.

There has been a post from a Montana owner about a blue tarp fix at some point. They did some type of transfer from the LR slide to the awning so it ran from the slide to the awning. So far in our limited experience we have only had wind that forced us to put the awning down. I would be worried about leaving it up at night with a storm coming, that might give us rain.... Hallelujah, so I wouldn't leave it unattended. The more I learn about my awning..... the more I think I shouldn't have bought the little lights to hang from it. The 3400 RL awning takes more time to take down than our New Vision.
