The grease did soften and run. There's still some there. It's on my list to re-load! The stock is 1/4". The challenging parts (for Keith) were: wearing his welding helmet under the trailer; the helmet getting flipped up and the window turning transparent (he has a hi-tech self-adjusting helmet). The welding involves "verticals" and "overheads", usually not a problem for him, but made difficult by lying under the trailer. It would have been easier for him had we jacked up the trailer, but the DW would have been unimpressed, since she was reading her book inside...
