Aha! the mirror!
Some serious staring and probing at the mirror first. Then I got a pc. of stainless steel, a foot long, flat stock, I bent it for a handle, (L-shaped) then just poked it all around to loosen and break the seal. They ran a bead of adhesive all around the outside. I just worked at it until it came loose.
