Can you describe the problem more specifically? I am guessing you are referring to the gas strut attached to the door. Which end is having the problem with loose screws? My rig has a strut too and the screws holding the bracket to the door lasted one day in the Yuma winds. Since the door was scheduled to be replaced when I returned home, I just drilled the holes through the door, inserted a spacer, and used bolts to attach the bracket (in place of the sheet metal screws). This fix worked well for two months. Subsequently the dealer replaced the door (due to another issue) and used Riv-Nuts to attach the bracket. One year later it is still tight (and we have been back to the Yuma winds).
