I am surprised that someone has not already replied to your question. Yes, in my opinion the 4 way tilt is much
better. And you would get the feeling of safety too. Going with a 16k hitch gives you the greater safety. We even went with a 18k Reese hitch to get the greater safety. Now saying that, I am sure the 15k hitch will do ok with your Montana/Mountaineer. The 4-way tilt will tilt your RV the direction that your truck is leaning, therefore not putting the pin in a bind when unhitching it.
Too bad you don't live near VA, we have a 15k hitch for $100.00 and a 20k hitch for $250.00. The latter came off our old truck.
