Any 1 tone truck is set up for towing. Makes no difference in which manufacturer you go with. I wouldn't add a aux fuel tank what a pain to install. I have a 26 gallon tank and that is just fine. One needs to stretch ones legs every few hours. I get 11.5 while towing which = 5 hours of driving. Adding more weight to the truck hurts fuel millage every day. Do you tow with your truck all the time or do you drive it around sightseeing? I use mine as a all around truck I don't just tow with it. I have taken 2 trips across the USA from coast to coast and I find fuel not a problem.

do however recommend air bags because they work with the shocks and cushion the ride. I would also recommend the onboard compressor because you never know if you have to air up in the rain. Also dragging out a compressor every time will be a pain. Been there done that. You will need a DRW to tow that big of a trailer even thought the 3/4 ton has the same motor and transmission.
