That depends on the type of wax you use and the condition of the cap to begin with and how you wash and is it stored outside. Synthetic polymer wax is the longest lasting wax according to Medgers. How long will it last? Not long enough for me to put it on.
If you really wont it to look good look into having it clear coating like your truck is.
