Tim, I'm looking at that area for some storage, too. Great idea. The only picture I have is of the outside, with vac and outlet installed. Cat, maybe this will help pinpoint the area. Except for the vac, the entire area up and down is pretty much empty except maybe some wires. For those with the vac, take out the four screws in the front and the vac slides right out. Then you can see what's available.
We have one there also almost in the same place...note that the Vac draws 10.31 amps so you need to be sure you don't run say a heater and the vac at the same time..
