I was bugged about this, so after posting I went to work on it...I think I have solved the leading edge, i.e., "tripping" issue but I still need to work on it. I've got it on paper, but physically need to build it. Actually, I think it's so cool I may patent it and retire on the royalties.
Will be able to use it with all laminates and vinyl flooring.
