That's true I'm sure, however I've never put down any type of laminate/aircell/vinyl/etc over osb without first sealing it. I should have mentioned that I guess.

Yes, actually a nice product, and easy to change out damaged pieces..but I'm not sure if the floating scenario would be ok in a 5er. Laminates float, but the rigidity would keep problems from occuring.

Armstrong also has a product...a sheet vinyl...that floats, and it has a sort of aircell over the back built right onto the vinyl. It's really nice (if your not looking for the wood plank look), and you can simply use contact cement on the corners/edges.
