Very good description of the noise. Our 2006 has been that way since new. We have tried sound deadening material and rerouting some pipes, but it's still pretty noisy. Next srep will be a new pump, but we're kinda getting used to it now. Besides, tackling that plumber's nightmare around the pump is not on my list of fun things to do.
