Same here. I put a wye on the water supply that has ball valve on each outlet. I leave the black hose connected to the RV always disconnect from the water supply when done back washing. Even have a cap for that side of the wye when I'm not back washing.

I may as a practice unhook the hose at the Y when not in use -
did you notice the valve at the input to the flush connection? That was intended to prevent that back wash when unhooking
