Just had my Valtera cables replaced with Rods. I thought the Valtera cables were an improvement over the Bristol but the rods are truly a 1 finger operation. I had the gray tank handle drilled through the frame on the driver side so that is a straight pull and had the black tank handle drilled through the frame on the door side so as to have a straight pull also. You get a much more positive open and closed valve with the rods. I had to have the handles installed outside of the convenience center and the black tank handle on the opposite side but is well worth it. Hope this last till I retire from rving.
