I agree that it is frustrating to purchase a top-end unit and not have top-end TV reception. I wound up with a portable Tailgater (so I can move it around trees) and run the cable into the window nearest the receiver and hook up. It takes about 2 minutes longer to hook up than into the convenience center but it saved all that hassle of re-wiring.
