Mollymsrm, I had my first fifth wheel and pulled it with a 3/4 ton dodge cummings, four wheel drive. It pulled really well. Then a drunk driver plowed into me and totaled my truck. I replaced it with a Dodge 3500 dually, four wheel drive with cummings. Before I told myself I would never drive a dually because that's a lot of tires to replace. After pulling our Hitchhiker fifth wheel with it I was really glad I had the dually. It's more stable. We then bought our High Country Montana 37ft and decided to go full-time. I have no regrets at all. I would encourage you to get the 3500 chevy dually, with the diesel of course.
