We are stuck full time in the middle of the desert so any help with the heat would be welcome. $1500 would be a very small price to pay if it helps control the temp even a degree or two. Heck we are adding a third A/C just to get 5F cooler. Those of you who have never stayed in the desert for extended time frames would not understand but it's a VERY big deal. Not likely we will add them to current unit but on our next one will if it helps.

So I am interested in just how much help you would get single vs double pane with the HEAT?
