Very good point, when I retire I too will not be doing the 700 towing and 1200 empty trips. I usually just grab the Wal*mart parking lot, rest area or truck stop for my lay overs. 700/68mph= 10.3 hours of driving, add a lunch stop I am usually on the road for 11/12 hours a day. This has been my travel schedule now for the past 11 years, but as I get older I have a feeling I will not be able to keep it up. As I stated in my first post, I like "your rule", it just does not fit into my lifestyle at the current time. One more reason I am looking forward to retirement. Happy travels......
